Tech Rider
Sound:
· High quality sound system with clear and powerful audio output.
· Wireless microphone with an ultra-lightweight headset such as Rode HS2-P or the nearest equivalent. (new batteries in the wireless pack or fully charged)
· A handheld wireless mic on the stage, so audience members who come up can be heard. (this should have new batteries or fully charged batteries)
· A small cloth table napkin to place under the Mic on the stage to avoid noise when picking the Mic up and putting it down.
· 2 x spare audio channels on the sound desk mixer that have XLR connections.
· A 2m extension cable with at least 3 electricity outlets should support (TYPE C & TYPE G) (3 pin & 2 PIN) sockets.
· Adequate time for a tech rehearsal or Mic check and sound test. (This should involve only event organizers and no guests from the event)
· An audio technician on hand to trouble shoot issues in testing and live performance.
· An audio technician on hand to cue Tracks throughout the performance (this is simple and there are few cues so easy to handle)
· Ash will arrive at least one hour before his show to run a sound check and liaise with AV team for minor music and visual cues.
Backdrop:
· Ash will provide a high quality, professionally made backdrop for the screen to be displayed for the duration of his performance.
· Please give Ash 48 hours’ notice of the screen resolution so that the image can be formatted to best quality.
· Please give Ash 48 hours' notice if you would like him to add your logos to his backdrop or your sponsors while this is displayed on the screen.
Stage set up.
· Elevated stage with sufficient space for Ash to move around.
· Steps at the front or side of the stage so audience members can quickly get up on stage.
· A small Square or rectangle table on the stage for Ash’s props. (This table should be waist height and have a suitable black tablecloth over it for aesthetics.
During the show.
· People are not to be eating during Ash’s performance and all table service is to be suspended for the duration of the show.
· General lighting should be dimmed or to a minimum.
· All doors should be closed during the performance to avoid outside noise & light pollution.
· If an Emcee, compere, or host is going to be introducing ASH to the stage they must be briefed on the introduction (there should be lots of energy when introducing an Act)
Green Room & Other:
· A comfortable and quiet green room with a big bottle of cold water.
· If needed, for larger shows Ash should be allowed to bring stagehands who can assist with stage setting and removing of the props. They should be given access to the event during the performance if needed.
Recording:
· Ash may bring along a professional videographer to capture magical moments which he will happily share with the client. (The videographer can be instructed to only capture the performance without guests or can capture video with guests. This is at the client’s discretion.
